MOLI CAREW brings decades of self-reflection to her first-ever solo exhibition at Queenscliff Gallery.

Works such as Balancing Act, Another Day Forward and Nesting contain intimate self-expression of critical thoughts central to the artist’s life.

Distorting, layering and masking, Carew presents rudimentary contrasts: vulnerability and confidence, pain and humour, concern and certainty.

Debut is Carew’s declaration and claim of confidence.

Daughter to parent survivors of the Holocaust who not once mentioned a word of their past at home, Moli Carew is a self-taught artist who has been practising for 20 years. In 2011, Moli participated in a Paris inspiration trip with a group of artists.
