‘I am particularly interested in art museums as places where people come as individuals, as groups, to look, to experience; they come with different stories, different knowings, expectations, different ways of being.’
— Sue Poggioli
Sue Poggioli is a visual artist living in Brisbane Australia, where she belongs to a community of printmakers.
Sue has exhibited regularly in solo and group shows and has practised teaching privately and publically with children and adults working in a community setting and as part of various arts festivals.
Currently, Sue is focused on the areas of drawing and printmaking (etching, relief and lithography) small three dimensional pieces and artist books. These are areas of investigation that overlap, are intertwined, layered and feed off each other.
Drawing from observation and from the imagination is vital to Sue’s work.
