Artist’s statement
A man of different ideas built a house with open windows and no view. For peace he planted a small front garden and many trees for the birds. Here they nested and fed, and sang their evening song. He, himself stayed in a little lookout, high above the house. From here he watched the birds come and go and raise their young. His educated cat placed himself under strict orders to guard the house and the birds.
