What is a Queenscliff Gallery (QG) Guest Exhibition?
A QG-Guest Exhibition is a fully managed exhibition led by the QG Directors. Similar in spirit to the QG Focus, the program is offered selectively; it is an exhibition opportunity without the ongoing representation commitments of the gallery or the exhibiting artist.
Working around QG’s regular calendar, there will be up to six QG-Guest Exhibition opportunities from February to December.
QG Guest Exhibitions will run for two – to four-week periods. Exhibition proposals will be considered by artists, curators and organisations.
The aim of QG Guest Exhibitions is to make the gallery more accessible and to provide a closer reflection of the Australian art industry.
Guest exhibitors will have their work presented alongside QG-represented artists and share the QG audience without committing to a long-term arrangement. This is especially suitable for artists who would like to explore different audiences, enter into short-term agreements, and have their work available for other opportunities.
The widened audiences from this collaborative approach are a shared benefit to frequenting QG patrons, collectors and followers, hosted artists, and the existing exhibiting artists.
This arrangement aims to benefit every exhibiting artist at QG, as well as all visitors and followers.
Represented artists remain the predominant focus of QG’s calendar, with works continuously showing in the gallery, online, in QG’s folios and on the racks.

What is a Queenscliff Gallery (QG) Hosted Exhibition?
A QG-Hosted Exhibition is a fully managed exhibition led by the QG Directors. Similar in spirit to the QG Focus, the program is offered selectively and for limited periods; it is an exhibition opportunity without the ongoing representation commitments of the gallery or the exhibiting artist.
Working around QG’s regular calendar, QG-Hosted Exhibitions will run from March to November beginning in 2027.
QG Hosted Exhibitions can be held for two- to four-week periods. Exhibition proposals are encouraged by artists, curators and organisations.
The aim of QG Hosted Exhibitions is to make the gallery more accessible and to provide a closer reflection of the Australian art industry.
Hosted exhibitors will have their work presented alongside QG-represented artists – no different to the current QG Focus exhibitions, and share the QG audience without having to commit to a long-term arrangement.
