Queenscliff Gallery (QG) was thrilled to host an exclusive Impressionist event for Geelong Gallery members.
Joining a conversation about the ongoing inspiration of the Impressionists and about business and the Arts in Geelong and the Borough of Queenscliff were Humphrey Clegg Director of Geelong Gallery, Jane Grover CEO of the Borough of Queenscliffe, Tammy and Rob Charter local business owners of the Queenscliff Hotel, Soula and Theo Mantalvanos QG Directors, artist John Waller and arts patrons, friends and guests including Rosemary Kiss and Sabina Robertson.

It was invigorating to acknowledge the ongoing legacy of the Impressionists, including Sir Arthur Streeton, whose etchings form part of the current exhibition, Homage to Geelong Gallery’s Discovering the Impressionists: Paul Durand Ruel, and to unite Geelong and the Borough through a conversation about the Arts and small business.
